Neuropsychology is a branch of psychology that is concerned with how the brain and the rest of the nervous system influence a person's cognition and behaviors, often focusing on how injuries or illnesses of the brain affect cognitive functions and behaviors.
Perri Carlson-Hawke is an Australian clinical psychologist and board-approved clinical supervisor. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and the Psychology Board of Australia. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and Fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists.
Originally from Queensland, Perri moved to Orange in 2012 where she completed her Honours in Psychology at Charles Sturt University. She went on to study Coaching Psychology at the University of Sydney before obtaining her MPsych(Clinical) in 2016.
Perri has a special interest in neuropsychology, metabolic health and assisting those living with chronic illness. She is trained in neuropsychological assessment for concerns including memory loss, dementia, brain injury or intellectual impairments. These may be for clinical, educational or medico-legal purposes.
